it's the webcam in asus eee pc 900 model. I have it and I made it work after I search the forums of asus eee pc. try serahing forums www.eeeuser.com. there was a topic explaining how to download and compile a kernel module for it. I've copied and pasted the commands to terminal and it's working now with kopete. I forget the link so you'll have to search it.
