After performing the large number of updates after installation of 8.04 (64 bit) from the alternative CD from 7.10 my mouse now has a very odd quirk.
It requires three clicks to perform a double click operation.
It displayed this same anomaly when 7.10 was installed was was fixed during routine updates - alas I have no idea which update.
BTW, I am running the stock install of the xorg.conf file.
The mouse area of "System Settings" has no effect on the mouse behavior.
Anyone have any ideas?
