Everex CouldBook UMPC

I have a Everex CloudBook and everybody tells me that (K) Ubuntu will work great on this mini-laptop.
Firstoff , I can't get the sound to work, the "master" an "PCM" settings on Kmix an Alsamixer
are up to 100% .
Could someone give me some help on this.

I am just curious because I am getting a Cloudbook in a week and I am going to load Kubuntu on it...
