Hi .New to this forum and first would like to say hello to all members.
What a coincidence, my first post is a cry for help
Now, lets get serious.
I have my WD MyBook eSata hard disk connected to e-sata port on my p5b deluxe motherboard (Jmicron 363 controller). On this disk, i made a dual boot configuration with mac osx 10.5.1 and kubuntu amd64 (at first with gutsy). It all worked great, but when i configured mac os (loaded some addtional modules-kext) to make it run in ahci mode (because at first it only did on ide), kubuntu would not boot anymore, nor in ahci nor in ide mode. I tried to upgrade to hardy rc but nothing changed. Then i tried to connect my disk to ordinary sata port on my mb and both OS-es boot up successful in ahci mode.
Can this problem be solved so i could boot kubuntu and mac os x simultaneously in ahci mode, when connected to jmicron controller?
This is the error message when booting kubuntu:
