Nvidia Geforce 6800 128mb agp8x install issue

Ok so i'm using hardy heron(8.04) and which ever kde version it comes with. I just cant get it to work i tried using the legacy driver through adept manager and I've tried just using the hardware detection in the K menu but nothing seems to enable the 3d. Is it possible to install currently on 8.04 or will i have to downgrade to 7.10?

ok so now im on kde 4.0 and had th legacy driver installed but i was wondering if its possible to get the new driver to run with agp?
