    Hardware drivers 'not in use'

I installed the 'NVIDIA accelerated graphics driver (latest card)' package and when I click on the box below 'enabled' in the 'Hardware Drivers' dialog nothing happens. I close the window and I restart and they are still not in use...
The maximal resolution is 800x600 which is annoying.

jockey-kde seems to be a little buggy...i had the same problem.

    jockey-gtk did it for me.

Just going to second what was said jockey-gtk installed the nvidia-glx-new driver for me without a problem. The KDE hardware manager would say say enabled then "not in use'. Unchecking and rechecking the box would ask me to restart, but the driver would never be downloaded or installed.
