        Re: No sound

Guess Amarok is a no go with Hardy. Guess they want me to use Juk?

          Re: No sound

They're building new kernel packages now. They will be uploaded to the repo's and sound will work after that.

I'm not sure why you have a problem with .11 and Amarok. It works fine here.

              Re: No sound

Now that the update fixed .12 sound, Amarok is still broke in both .11 & .12. When I select and mp3 to play I get "mp3 support now installed, you will need to restart amarok". Restarting doesnt help? Thought I hozed it up when the sound was broke but can't see that
I changed anything. This probably belongs in Software now. I remove Amarok and reinstalled, no help.

Did you reboot after you installed the kernel update? I did, and all things sound, including Amarok, are working right again.

                  Re: No sound

I had to install manually libxine1-ffmpeg. Usually that installs first time I play something in amarok, (said it did) but after checking adept it was not. I installed it and moosic is working. I did reboot, not like the emerald -replace compiz replace cli. (got that down pat)
