Good Morning,
I have been having serious problems getting my HP 8180 all-in-one printer to work properly in Kubuntu Gutsy and have done numerous things to make it work (see this discussion).
The printer part works fine, but Kubuntu won't recognize the scanner. I heard that the HPLIP functions are updated in Hardy and might work better at recognizing the scanner.
If this is true, I would upgrade to Hardy. Can anyone tell me if this is true?
Thanks,
Matt
