web cam logitech

i installed "cheese" to run my webcam--logitech 4000-- and it seems to work well but i cannot find where it recorded to. i found a command on some forum which i enter and the webcam works well and records to the documents folder in an avi format but i dislike having to copy the command then open the cli and would like to just use cheese. can anyone help me please

I can't get cheese to work on my 64 bit machine. It works fine on my 32 bit machine, but I like a program especially designed for the uvcvideo drive called gucview. It works great on 64 and 32 bit with the Logitech cameras. http://guvcview.berlios.de/

To find Cheese pics, look in ~/.gnome2/cheese/media. HTH!
