[resolved] Compiz - monitor does not power off

When running compiz with kde3, my monitor no longer suspends. It does if kwin is my wm.

Ideas?

I would also like to know how to resolve this, I have the same problem on my Slackware 12 install.

Resolved: Compiz - monitor does not power off

This worked for me in kde -

With compiz running, I went to system settings, then display, then the power saving tab, I unchecked the power saving box, hit apply, then rechecked it and hit apply again.

I also use kpowersave, and did something similar there in its configuration.
