I have kubuntu gutsy with kde4 installed on my laptop and I removed the adept manager for kde3.5.8 from the machine thinking that adept manager for kde4 was installed(I think it is but it's not showing up in the menu for some reason). Now I have no adept manager at all. Can anyone tell me how I can fix the kde4 version or how to get the kde3 version reinstalled via apt-get?
As far as I know, Kubuntu is still using the KDE3 version of Adept. It should be just a matter of doing sudo apt-get install adept and it should install the whole thing I think, but here is the list of adept packages that are installed on mine:
i installed adept 3.0a3 from debian sid just to see what it would be like. (3.0 is being ported to qt4). it segfaults at start though. i don't really care though, i don't use adept, i use synaptic.
