Weird Thunderbird behaviour

Hi there. I've located the profile folder of Thunderbird in my laptop using Windows and copied it to profile folder of Thunderbird in Kubuntu. Also changed the profile.ini. When i start Thunderbird i my account settings are correct but the names of the local folders are now like ??. I go back to my profile folder and i see that the corresponding files have been renamed to ?? or something like that!!!

Any ideas?

No one? It seems that after i restart thunderbird it creates some files in the Local Folder with strange names like "sd87s6d".
