    Re: Mouse shadow

    I fear i can't help you -- i've got an ATI Radeon.

You have selected a cursor type which has shadow (as recommended above), i take it..?

      Re: Mouse shadow

Yes, i've select a cursor with shadow but this is the sae regardless what i set in the cursor shadow preferences...in other words its a cursor with fixed shadow (not what i'm looking for)

Maybe I can resolve the problem looking at the xorg.conf file of someone that has this option functioning (setting various combinations of offset and alpha values the result is visible)

      I wait for someone...

        Re: Mouse shadow

The only mention of "mouse" in my xorg.conf is:

        Code:
        Section "InputDevice"
        	Identifier	"Configured Mouse"
        	Driver "mouse"
        	Option "CorePointer"
        	Option "Device"	"/dev/input/mice"
        	Option "Protocol"	"ImPS/2"
        	Option "ZAxisMapping"	"4 5"
        	Option "Emulate3Buttons"	"true"
        EndSection
        if that's of any help.

          Re: Mouse shadow

The section regarding cursor shadow is 'Screen' or 'Device', visible in my posted xorg.conf file.

          Help!!!
