Getting Bacula to work under Gutsy

I installed the meta package for bacula and so far havent touched the config files, so the passwords for everything should match up, but for the life of me I cannot figure out how to get this thing working. I get a connection refused any time i try to connect to the storage or file daemon. A short snippet from bconsole is below. ANY help would be greatly appreciated, as I have no idea what I'm doing wrong.
