Kopete - Backspace shows &bkspc? on Trillian

Kopete is a great IM tool, but I've noticed that when I correct my spelling and then hit send, it transmits "&bkspc?" instead of correcting mt mistake. I couldn't find anything in Kopete regarding character mapping.

Anyone else have a similar problem with a fix?

What IM protocol are you experiencing the problem with? I have notices some strange behavior with kopete and AIM.

I'm using the AIM protocol on Kopete; the other user is on Trillian using the same.
