    K-Menu Disappeared

So last night I was playing with Kcontrol to customize the system and it worked out nicely. But today when I go to boot up my laptop, the K-Menu bar along the bottom is completely missing. I kinda need it to be able to get to WiCD and a few other programs to get on the internet (right now I'm running on the dual-boot of XP on the other half of the laptop). So um, does anyone know how to get it back? Thanks.

Edit: Okay, and the problem just got worse. I looked around the site to try to find a solution and typed in kwin --replace. Now I can't move around the windows and the options in the top right corners to close, minimize, and maxiimize the window are gone. And I think terminal froze up because I can't type anything in there. Um, help?

The bar across the bottom can be started with 'kicker'.

Can you right click and select "Add New Panel"? You can then right click on that panel and "Add Applet To Panel" under which you will find the Kmenu button.

No I couldn't, but somehow I was able to fix it by going through the safe-mode boot for Kubuntu and got it to work.
