Adept locked up . . .

Downloading updates tonight and adept locked up half way thru the process. I can't get back into it.
What needs to be typed in Konsole to clear the bottleneck and fix the lockup. . . ?

To fix Adept errors:
Open a console and type:

sudo dpkg --configure -a

should fix it, else continue with

sudo apt-get clean

sudo apt-get update

sudo apt-get install
