I haven't rebooted, and I won't until someone tells me i can dare to. I need my workstation, i can't afford any downtime, Any suggestions on how i can check that my system will boot up properly?

    Thank you!
Often that is caused by network connectivity issues between your computer and the mirror repo, or else by the moment that you chose to try it (when the contents of the repo might be in flux). Let an hour or two pass, and try it again. Or wait until tomorrow -- I doubt you'll lose any productivity from an update delay. Matter of fact, if your system is performing OK at the moment, and you're depending on it for your livelihood, I'd wait until the weekend to minimize the risk of an interruption.

I agree in waiting until the weekend just in case.
