Hello.
I noticed that there is a regression in CUPS functionality from Feisty to Gutsy. After installing Gutsy I can no longer print to my network CUPS printer. The printer is installed successfully, but any attempt to send a job results in "Unable to get printer status (Forbidden)!" message. The /var/log/cups/error_log is also full of the same message. The same error happens when I try to queue the job as root. I also tried to create the printer from KDE, GNOME and directly from CUPS web interface. Nothing makes a difference.
Was anyone able to find a workaround? Any ideas would be appreciated.
Thanks.
