[SOLVED] Video's don't play anymore

After the last kernel update, maybe a week or two ago, I lost the ability to watch avi and mpg movies on my pc. When i try to open a video file I get the following error:

Error opening/initializing the selected video_out (-vo) device.

Theres and ok button, and that's that. Any Ideas?

You are using Kaffeine/Mplayer/VLC ?


If Kaffeine, try to change:
Kaffeine > Settings > Xine Engine Parameters > Video -> Videodriver to use (default: auto).

There has been Xine upgrade to the 1.1.10:
