Settings | Configure Konqueror
Scroll through the items in the left pane. You'll find the Cache item. Click and look in the right pane.Windows no longer obstructs my view.

i've done that.......closed the browser and restarted it..nothing got deleted

KControl -> Security and Privacy -> Privacy -> check Form field filling (or something like that) -> Clean.
