Kubuntu & Ubuntu (Living in perfect harmony....NOT!)

I had Ubuntu installed on my system and wanted to check out Kubuntu so I followed the instructions here to install the KDE desktop. I used a command line to install the software. During the installation a accidentally chose to have KDE as the only desktop. Now I can't get back. I want to have both.

Any suggestions on how to achieve this?

    Thanks.

If you have unistalled gnome-desktop you could reinstall it.

I think you can do it with this code, but I haven't apt-cache searched it because I am not i Kubuntu right now.

    Code:
    sudo aptitude install ubuntu-desktop

I think you may be confusing KDM (KDE Display Manager) (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/KDE_Display_Manager)and GDM (Gnome Desktop Manager) (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GNOME_Display_Manager) with KDE (K Desktop Enviroment) (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/KDE) and Gnome (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GNOME) .

      To choose between DISPLAY MANAGERS
      sudo dpkg-reconfigure gdm
and make the choice in the dialogue that follows. You could also do
      sudo dpkg-reconfigure kdm
To choose between DESKTOP ENVIROMENTS choose on the page where you sign in and take a different Session Type.
