      Re: adept?

Close anything resembling Adept or Synaptic, open the Konsole and enter
      Code:
      sudo dpkg --configure -a
If it does not give errors, then continue with
      Code:
      sudo apt-get update
      Code:
      sudo apt-get install
      Code:
      sudo apt-get autoclean
and you should be back in business.
