Installed kde4 but freenx still opens up a kde 3 session

I installed freenx on my new kubuntu gutsy x86_64 machine and then upgraded to kde 4.0.1 . I can choose and login to a new kde 4 session locally. but when i use freenx i always end up connecting to a new kde 3 session . I also tried setting the new kde4 session to the default session but it does not help.

I choose UNIX and kde in the freeNX client.. I am not sure if I have to set-up the client diffrently

Please help me solve this issue

    Thanks

    Hi

I have the same issue, I use the fee nx server and have not woked out how to et nx to use the kde 4 session.

Is this a limitation of NX or can it be done?

Hmmm I have int=stalled reloaded so I don't have KDE 3 and I can't start KDE 4. The error I get is unable to run startkde. So I guess you have to set i to use a custom desktop and specify the command to load kde 4 - only I hven't figured out what it is

Set your client to use a custom desktop - the command is /usr/lib/kde4/bin/startkde
