I have a few folders under my Local Folders in Kmail. For some of them I can only see the messages in the message list pane, but the messages themselves are inaccessible, i.e. they don't appear in the message preview pane, and any attempt at doing anything with the message from the message list pane (i.e. deleting them) causes kmail to crash. This seems somehow to happen only with folders that haven't been accessed from some time. However, even new messages copied to those folders will also cease to be accessible.
The contents of the folders are accessible via a text editor from their respective mbox folders in ~/.kde/share/apps/kmail/mail , which tells me that everything is still there, only kmail doesn't make it accessible.
Any hint will be most welcome.
