Hi everyone,
I have got the IBM ThinkPad T40 and am trying to hook up my cell-phone to it. I just followed the story here: http://www.ubuntugeek.com/howto-setu...in-ubuntu.html, but "sudo hcitool scan"
gives me a message "Device is not available: No such device". In dmesg I can see:
/etc/bluetooth$ dmesg |grep Blue
[ 26.440000] Bluetooth: Core ver 2.11
[ 26.440000] Bluetooth: HCI device and connection manager initialized
[ 26.440000] Bluetooth: HCI socket layer initialized
[ 26.476000] Bluetooth: L2CAP ver 2.8
[ 26.476000] Bluetooth: L2CAP socket layer initialized
[ 26.572000] Bluetooth: RFCOMM socket layer initialized
[ 26.572000] Bluetooth: RFCOMM TTY layer initialized
[ 26.572000] Bluetooth: RFCOMM ver 1.8
[ 786.724000] Bluetooth: HIDP (Human Interface Emulation) ver 1.2
I am surely missing something, but don't understand what exactly. I will very appreciate any help!
Alex
