        Hi aharoon111,

Dazuko failed to load due to conflict with 'apparmor' module.
You have to unload 'apparmor' module for dazuko to load.

        sudo rmmod apparmor
        sudo modprobe dazuko

Meanwhile there is no other alternative that I know of.

        Hope this helps.

Re: help me with kalmAv i stuck with dazuko

While it's true that there are no effective viruses in Linux, what's sad is that when someone is trying to be a good citizen some things just get in the way.

I've downloaded several antivirus packages for Linux. I've let those packages do their thing on my files. Sure enuff, no bad stuff -- at least none detected. But who knows, maybe something did get passed on to someone else and I just don't have the file anymore; maybe some dumb jokes or pictures in an email that I immediately trashed.

What I could never do, at least so far, is incorporate a dazuko module so that on-access data and events could be malware checked as it goes screaming through my system. It's pain in the but to compile -- I just tried that, and quit. But I won't lose any sleep over my lack of dazuko or the lack of antivirus software on my system now.

Just trying to be a good citizen.
