DivX 1.4

For a few weeks now the stage6 site has been telling me to upgrade to divx v1.4. If I click on their install link it downloads a dmg file. Can't find any posts on the forums about it. So, Two questions.

1. How do I upgrade the divx version so the website quits nagging me about it?

2. Why are there no posts on this in the Kubuntu or Ubuntu forums? I can't believe that I am the only person in the world who has noticed this.

I am on 64 bit Gutsy. I believe that mplayer is running divx for me.

Dont worry about that. A dmg file is for mac. Just close that pop up and continue using stage6 as normal. That is for windows/mac. I've been able to play anything on Stage6 with mplayer also.
