    Lost my shutdown option

I installed Xgl yesterday (using apt) and now I don't have the option to shutdown, restart, suspend or hibernate my computer. All I get is "Logout". I can shutdown the computer from the logon screen but that is a pain, especially since I like to use the suspend feature. How do I get these options back? Do I need to uninstall Xgl for this to work?

    Re: Lost my shutdown option

Right click in on your panel bar at the bottom of the screen (not on an icon) and select "Add Applet To Panel". A menu will open. Scroll down and select "Lock/Logout Buttons" and they will be added to your panel bar.

    Hope this helps.

I tried that and it didn't help. I uninstalled Xgl and it came back.
