[Solved]Video is pixelated !! ??

My onboard graphic card is ati radeon200 series.

I have put ati restricted drivers to use.

When i play a video , the video is getting pixelated(little bit).

When i install xgl - the same video clarity is normal , but when i press Kmenu it gets loaded slowly , when i click on a folder it responds slowly etc. I mean with xgl video is smooth but the other effects are causing me a trouble.

Any solution?


my system config:

1gb ram , 3.0 ghz processor , 256 mb onboard ati graphics card.

Hey i installed Envy. Now every thing is fine.

I request all the ati users and nvidia users to install envy if they are having any problems with the default proprietary restricted drivers.

Before i had installed envy and even i told u that it broke my system.May be i have downloaded the wrong version before . Now i have retried it. Now every thing rocks
