Can anybody please help in getting a audio plugin for MP3 players. I am searching for maybe an external 10 to 16 band equalizer or an application like DFX or Winamp DSP Effects like plugins... Plz help me coz i am an audio maniac. Just missing these tiny things.

At the risk of being crushed by the superior knowledge on this forum can't you just do a search in Synaptic (not Adept as it appears to be having problems?) and see what comes up? And ... I thought that Kde-restricted-extras may have something useful?
If this is a pile of pooh I'll delete it later!
