    Installing libraries...manually..?

How would I go about manually installing libraries? I need to install Virtualbox so I can run windows while in Linux so I can connect to the internet..

Although I need to download some files before I can try and install virtualbox on Linux...namely libxalan-c, libxerces-c and version 5 of libstdc++

Now I know it would be really easy to do it...if I had an internet connection >.<

I already have them downloaded and on a Flashdrive, so now all I need to know is where do I put them...

With local repository you could use apt/aptitude/adept/synaptic...
