Why is it SOOOO hard to write in chinese using scim/skim in Kubuntu?!?
that is basically the only reason for me to still use Gnome - where it works!!!
i read post after post, followed insruction after instruction
but still....
Kubuntu is super sweet, the functionality is awesome, it is super pretty
BUT,.....no working chinese....
in Mandriva for example it just works perfect - during the install I choose chinese as secondary language and voila it works everywhere, including qt apps like Skype
so why not in Kubuntu?
obviously it is NOT a problem of KDE or Scim/Skim.....
