Recently i faced a problem.
I installed kubuntu from the cd and installed the restricted graphic drivers from the net through adept. It didnot detect my screen resolution automatically. When i restarted my pc , every thing was black .I had to format my pc again. My friend faced the same problem.
But now i have installed kubuntu 4m a dvd . The restricted drivers were present in that dvd. Those didnot cause any problem. Even i upgraded the drivers every thing is fine now.But when i install kubuntu from a cd and install the driver from net through adept system gets crashed(cant login any more). I dont no why this is happening.??
any reason?
