Lately, I've had a few problems with the Flash plugin for Firefox. First, I tried to install it using apt-get, but I got an error about md5sum mismatch:
I tried the solution explained here and it did work. Notice that I didn't use nspluginwrapper because I couldn't find it in apt-get. I launched Firefox and tried to watch videos on YouTube. The video seemed to load, but the moment I tried to play it, Firefox crashed. I made several tests, but the behavior was always the same.
Then, I tried to uninstall (purge) flashplugin-nonfree and install the Flash plugin using the Firefox pop-up assistant. The installation worked again, but the crashes remained.
