Hi everybody,
I have successfully installed kde 4 (following the instructions from http://kubuntu.org/announcements/kde-4.0.php), and now I have both kde 3.5.8 and kde 4 in my machine. I log into a kde 4 full session from my login manager. However even when I am logged into kde 4, when I type in the konsole "kded --version" the output is:
Qt: 3.3.7
KDE: 3.5.8
By the time that the installation path is /usr/lib/kde4, and there also exists /usr/lib/kde3, at boot time the later path is used to load kde.
Where is the configuration file that informs which kde to load? I mean that obviously there is somewhere a line that tells that default kde is in path /usr/lib/kde3 and I have to change it to /usr/lib/kde4 so that I fully load kde 4.
Thnx in advance...
