How do I auto hide the kicker panels?

Where is the volume control?

Where is the network notification icon?

How can I re-arrange the columns in Konqueror? How do I set 'details' as the default view? Why won't it remember that I want the 'type' column visible?

At the moment I don't think you can hide the panel.

Get kmix-kde4 and run it once. Configure the chanels and tell it to start in the systray.
It should show op in your panel at every start.

As for konqueror I have not idea, sorry. Hardly ever use it.

Hi All,
On my box, to hide the kicker panel--all I gotta do is change my wallpaper--and its gone!
How do we spell that?--- Wa-la !
Seems to me, ease of most customizations are disappearing...which takes away from us users.
Developers are heading off in another direction - thats not towards the users.

Just my 2cents
