The actual release date may get pushed back... Or maybe someone just forgot something.

Anyway, anyone know when KDE 4 final will be put into the repos?

It won't get pushed back. "Today" is January 11, 2008. The time isn't given though, so it can be any time from 00:00 to 23:59 of any timezone. Maybe it would be safe to presume around noon, UTC.

Kubuntu packages are almost ready. We're just waiting for the final go signal from KDE.

A little bit of patience goes a long way.

The packages are working, and they're more stable than previously guessed.

Some little rough edges, but really worth the experience.

              Mine is looking nice too
Still can't figure out how to put apps-starter-links onto the panel or change the panel at all

Edit: What I really love is the cartoons widget and the desktop effects. Very cool

Edit2: to add an app to the panel richt click on the app in kmenu and choose add to panel. But you can't move them arround :P

I'm downloading the Live CD right now. Hope it is a little better than last time. I want to make sure first :P before installing, for when I install it, it will be the primary.

Why is Adept trying to update from ppa1 to gutsy repos? Is that right and is it safe?

                            I donno...
Seems buggy to me - right off.

=Changing the wallpaper - the kicker disappears.
=Right-clicking desktop icon- clicking 'preview' - it crashes.

There seems to be less ability for customized choices--when I felt this was totally
a user friendly/free to adjust OS..?
