Lately FF has been crashing when opening up nfl.com.
This only happens on my Kubuntu Gutsy install.
Any ideas?

Since the page is carrying FOUR flash objects, and Flash Player is for me the cause of most firefox crashes and hangs, I'd say it's that. Try disabling flash. (No I'm not sure how to do that since I currently use firefox 3)I am running Ubuntu 8.10 (yes Gnome) with upgrades applied daily about 0900 UK time. Hardware is Dell Precision 420, 2x 800 MHz PIII, 512 MB RDRAM, nVidia GeForce 6800 128 MB AGP graphics, 18GB SCSI and 500GB IDE HDDs, DVD burner, Hauppage TV card. -

That could be it. I had the same yesterday. Today it works as usual
