gimp died

since i updated to 7.10 gimp dont work anymore. i uninstalled it and reinstalled it and still dont work. when i try and open it, it acts like it is then everything is gone and it didnt open.
not sure which way to go now. any help?

You have already done what I would have done. :P

Do you want to try (in the Konsole)

sudo apt-get --purge remove gimp

?

Then maybe I would run

sudo apt-get update

and

sudo apt-get install

and

sudo apt-get autoclean

and then open Adept Manager and mark gimp for installation.

No guarantees ....

got it working but not really sure what did it. not sure if doing what you said to try or if removeing gimpshop. ill try and reinstall gimpshop and see what happens.
