I am running Amarok 1.48. I just received an e260 for Christmas. If I put it in MSC mode, I can use Dolphin to drag and drop files onto the player but Amarok doesn't see it. If I put it in MTP mode, it shows up in my device list but neither Dolphin nor Amarok see it. I ran mtp-detect and it gave me this
patrick@HAL:~$ mtp-detect
libmtp version: 0.2.1
Attempting to connect device(s)
Potential MTP Device with VendorID:0781 and ProductID:7420 responded to control message 2 with a response that was too short. Problems may arrise but continuing
PTP: Opening session
Segmentation fault (core dumped)
Any ideas? It is an old system without USB 2.0 (they are just 1.1 but I plan on adding a card) which shouldn't cause problems. I would rather use MTP so I can use playlists, but even getting Amarok to see it would be an improvement.
