    change resolution to 1024-768!

    well i need help to change the resolution of kubuntu in my pc... :P

    i was upgraded version 7.04 to 7.10 and after i restart the resolution is enormous

        u can change the resolution in kmenu>system settings.

        If u dont have any resolutions to select than the default resolution(at present what u have) its probably due to some error while upgrading.Even i experienced the same thing when i have installed debian.There were no options in the resolution list. So i re installed it. every thing went fine. So dont format now. Wait so that there could be a better answers from others .

            You can reconfigure xserver by doing this:-

            In Konsole, type

            sudo dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg

            Just follow the prompts, and if you are unsure of anything just accept the default.

            You will find a section to set your resolution amongst all the settings.

            Good luck.
