    Where is ksudoku?

Adept said that ksudoku was part of the kdegames package, which was installed, but not ksudoku. Ok, I asked it to install ksudoku. But I can't find it in the menu now under Games. As for the file, all I can find which resembles something executable is something called

    /usr/lib/kde4/share/kde4/apps/ksudoku/ksudokuui.rc

which seems to have a vaguely html-like format. What do I do to run the game?

    Thanks.

    /usr/lib/kde4/share/kde4/apps/ksudoku/ksudokuui.rc
    Do you have KDE4 ?

There are: ksudoku - sudoku puzzle generator/solver (for KDE 3.5)
ksudoku-kde4 - Sudoku puzzle generator/solver for KDE (for KDE 4)

confirmed - does not appear in the kmenu after installing it, but ... does appear in the kmenu if I run it once:
      Code:
      Alt-F2
      /usr/games/ksudoku

After stopping and restarting my computer overnght, Sudoku is there. I'm in Gutsy, which is KDE 4.

        Thanks.

Actually, what's there now in the menu is gnome sudoku. Is this the same as ksudoku? At any rate, it's great. Except....

How do I tell it I've finished? It never seems to acknowledge that I've won. And ther are no scores tallied.

I'd like to point out that you were actually looking at a configuration file at first and not a shell script to run ksoduku. Most .rc files on Linux are configuration files you'll find.

Also, though I am not entirely sure how to apply this to KDE4, on KDE 3.x you can run this command to restart kicker:

              Code:
              pkill kicker; kicker
If new programs are not added to KMenu at first, this command should do it.
