    Session manager [PARTLY SOLVED]

    I spent a lot of time in (k)ubuntu and boot hardly into windows anymore

    My question: I still have problems at startup, if the session is set to automatically load the previous session it does not seem te remember the last session, only 2 or 3 programs get loaded.
    If I revert to manualy save the session there's a problem with the order, I think. I always get an error window from kdesudo about missing command right after the desktop boots. Then my audioplayer (audacious) wants to open files but these are on a network drive mounted with smb4k, but smb4k has not succesfully run yet, so these drives are not mounted yet.
    I suspect the error from kdesudo at the very start may be a reason that smb4k did not automatically mount those drives.

    Anybody any ideas?

    I googled for an alternative session manager where you can add / delete / order programs but I could not find such a thing.

    Re: Session manager [PARTLY SOLVED]

    For those interested, I found a good way to mount my xp network drives, I have this in my /etc/fstab:

    //192.168.1.10/D /home/jean/serverd cifs auto,rw,username=guest,password=,file_mode=0777,di r_mode=0777,user 0 0

    No messing around with smb4k anymore. This works.
