KDM Theme Manager won't allow changes

So I installed KDM Theme Manager but I can't make any changes. When I click on Administrator it asks for my password... takes it.. reloads the screen but everything is still greyed out and the Administrator button is still available.

    Ideas?

Yeah. I think there is a bug that was introduced in Gutsy. In order to change my Themes I have to edit /etc/kde3/kdm/kdmrc to actually change a Theme. Never submitted a Bug report. Seems there was another file I had to edit, but don't remember what that is at the moment.

Here is a link to where KDM Theme Manager was discussed when I had problems, not that they went a way.

Hi ... Guys good news ... I found the solution at

http://www.tecpages.com/solution-for...-not-changing/ and it worked perfectly for me.

        Thanks

Thanks! I actually did the first part way back when. The removal of 20_kubuntu_default_settings is what did it for me.
