    Uninstalling Ndiswrapper

Hi all, I have a general question, if I do a complete removal of Ndiswrapper will that remove all configurations that have been set up using it as well. I am trying to get my wireless working, a netgear wg511 v2, with the Marvell chipset. I have figured which drivers to use, eventually, but getting there i tried a few different ones and think I have made a bit of a mess of it. I would like to remove it all and start fresh. Any help appreciated.

    Cheers

If you used adept to install it, you should just be able to do the same thing to remove it. If you want to erase any configurations, etc, you can purge instead of remove. Execute the following:

    ndiswrapper -l (that is an L not a 1 or a pipe)

If the command is not recognized, you are good to go. There may be some fragments left, but I wouldn't worry about it.
