I upgraded from beta and apt-get upgrade everyday all went well until yesterday, after logon it halt at the 4th icon can't get to init desktop, if I click on anything a blank desktop will result, this happens almost every cool boot, but returns to normal 2nd cool boot immediately. I created an user a/c to test and does not have this problem, this is not the first time I've this problem, this is the 2nd installation I've done, I only have the beta CD and I've a slow line so don't want to download the release version to try, but does this make any different ?? I don't have any unsupported h/w, it is an old Compaq P3 with PCI ATI display I think quite standard.
