How do I see screen :1 using VNC when I work at the controlled PC?

I'm using VNC to control PC1 from PC2 according to the guide here:

    http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t...hlight=vnc

which defines screen :1 on PC1

When I work at PC1 directly I see screen :0

How can I see screen :1 (which was opened by the VNC server) when I work directly at PC1 ?

...Connect to it with the VNC viewer?
    For external use only.

I was/am confused by yair999's initial question. From PC2 he is viewing the desktop of PC1. If he goes to PC1, he is still working on/seeing the desktop for that PC. That's as it should be, yes?
Windows no longer obstructs my view.

I've always been told that if you VNC using this
        Code:
        remoteComputerName:x
where x is the "Screen" number, then it should connect to that screen session.

Usually, a VNC server starts its own X server.
          For external use only.

            I'll try to explain

When I connect from PC2 to PC1 via VNC I see screen :1.
            Suppose I open there aMule.

Now I come and sit at PC1 and I want to continue using aMule, but what I see there is screen :0. The aMule runs at :1.

How can I continue using my aMule when I'm at PC1?

I hope it's more clear now.

Well, eventually that was the hint.
I just forgot I can use VNC viewer on the same PC where the VNC server runs so:

              vncviewer localhost:1

did it and reconnected me to screen :1.

              Thanks.

Or you can do what I do and use x11vnc, which attaches a VNC server to X server :0.
Only problem I with this is that everything you're doing is shown on the screen.

Anyway, if you want x11vnc, I think I used this guide.

                  ...
                  this guide.
For that purpose I can use Krfb which is already included.
The Xvnc4server allows me to connect to :1 with a lower resolution suitable to my PC2 and without interupting anyone working at the PC1 itself.
