Compiz + Kicker

Hi. I use Compiz & KDE 3.5.8. I have installed compiz-kicker and compiz-taskbar. It works perfectly, except when I start up KDE, I have to kill kicker and restart it.
For a workaround, I use a startup script... Any better ideas?

Located here:

/usr/share/autostart/

is where things are started automatically. There is an entry called

panel.desktop

. Rename it not to include the ".desktop" portion and that should stop kicker from automatically starting. You will have to do this as root.
