Black out screen when connected remotely (x11vnc)

Is there a way to black out an x11vnc server's screen while one is remotely connected to it? When I'm connected remotely, I don't want what I'm doing to be shown on the screen.
Does anyone know of a way to do this, or any VNC servers that can both use X server :0 and black out the screen?

x11vnc has a -blackout option, but that's for covering garbage created by non-rectangular screens (i.e. Xinerama), and will black it out on the client as well.
    For external use only.
